Celltex Ltd 2 Metre Black Backing Foam Caulking

Celltex Ltd 2 Metre Black Backing Foam Caulking polyethylene foam in a handy 2 metre strip to back out deep joints in preparation for mastic sealant application. This expansion backing foam caulking provides a sound base to gun mastic against. Please note: Although black is specified, the actual correct colour is a very dark anthracite grey.

BENEFITS:

- Can be easily cut to required joint size and shape with a blade
- Expands to meet the joint substrates ensuring a tight joint seal
- Very easy to apply, just push into place with a stick etc.
- Closed cell and non-absorbent
- Reduces the quantity of mastic sealant required

RECOMMENDED FOR:

- To provide a backing support to sealants and mastics, where a full depth expansion joint is not required
- Filling gaps to reduce the amount of sealant needed, helping to reduce cost
